This program will offer a comprehensive review of several published decisions that have defined and provided further clarity on the topic of admissibility relating to expert evidence at trial. This program will identify a number of key decisions and will provide a discussion on not only the principles of admissibility, but will go over several examples of why portions of reports, or reports in their entirety are deemed inadmissible. We will go over several arguments that may be raised in arguing that an expert’s report is inadmissible, and will offer awareness of what to be aware of in presenting expert opinion to the Court.
